Welcome to the eighth review of Girlpla Guide Weekly!
To end the month of Temu Tat, we’ll be pivoting back to soozafone’s Lucky13 kits; specifically, the Mini13 kits!

Overview
Part of the Lucky13 “brand” of model kits, the Mini13 kits are, as with the rest of the Lucky13 lineup, better described as a freely available 3D model for printing by anyone. While not as popular as the Dummy13 designs in terms of being found being printed by every Tom, Dick and Harry who can afford mail and a printer and sold on any marketplace that’ll support any Tom, Dick and Harry.

Construction and Engineering
In our honest opinion, we actually liked the Mini13 models significantly better than the Dummy13 design; the copies we acquired for ourselves had fairly similar to better articulation than the Dummy13 designs, with the cubioid shapes allowing for better compatibility with accessories (such as the cute little hats).
While we usually have some kind of nitpick or way of improving these kits, really, there’s not much to be said for these; these are pretty well done from this perspective.
Aesthetics:
Like the Dummy13 kits, the Mini13 models are very plain, given that they’re supposed to be adorned with paint, accessories and armor. While we think they’re very cute without these (or at least with the cap designed for them), you will need some serious work to make one of these as flashy as the rest of your shelf.
Ease of Acquisition:
Like the Dummy13 kits, these kits are “free” in the sense that as long as you have the CAD files, a printer and filament, you can make your very own Mini13 kits at home. If you don’t have any of these, these are dirt cheap off Amazon or AliExpress.
Personal Verdict?
Like the Dummy13 kits, the Mini13 kits are intended for customisation. If you’re looking for something akin to a Megami Device that already looks impressive out of the box, look elsewhere.
Overall score: As per our rules on such kits, we will not be providing a rating.
